FINALLY met up wtih Rah!! Yayerrs! 

Met her after her classes and headed straight to Clementi to get our brows done first.

Then we took a bus and headed to cafe W39 which is located somewhere in Clementi. Totally loving the decor and concept of this cafe!

Rah ordered the Braised Pork Cheek Gruyere Panini and some chicken wings for us to share and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank Mushroom Panini. I honestly LOVED the food. Total satisfaction.

Had an awesome time catching up with her and information-overloading each other. ❤ Definitely one of the few that I would tell everything to. 

And then she surprised me by getting a slice of their rainbow cake as a birthday cake just because she didn't get to celebrate my birthday with me. NGAWHHH~ ❤ Absolutely too cute!

It was the first time that both of us tried rainbow cake. It looks so pretty that both of us didn't want to start first. Haha.

I wish for a better year ahead. 

Had dinner with Diana, Qing and San since the guys were all at the men's meeting. After that we headed back to San's house for a little praise session (so fun! heehee) and the fellowshipping. Jia joined us a little after that. Yay! :D Just the 5 of us but it was definitely quality fellowship. I really enjoy simple times like these. :) 

We surprised Qing by celebrating her birthday and then we sabo-ed her by giving her a makeover. Haha. Definitely not her usual look.

Slightly after that, we headed home.

Tika's Birthday @The White Rabbit

Met up with Tika for a belated (2 weeks) birthday lunch. Yay! 

Cabbed to The White Rabbit @Dempsey from Orchard and we nearly didn't make lunch. But thank God we did. :) 

 Both of us ordered the 3-courses set lunch. Chose everything exactly the same except for the starters.

The lunch was delicious. And I had a good time catching up on the past few weeks. And news update! She should be heading to Perth too! Yay! Awesomeness!! Thank you baby for the amazing lunch! Hehe. :) We should do it again soon!

After that we headed back to town to chill and walk around.

Home at 10+ for dinner.

Today was daddy's birthday so I decided to cook for his birthday. Thank God for mum who was my sous chef and helped me do stuffs like chop the onions. Haha. Started prepping at 4+. I was really excited because it was my first time cooking such a complex meal. So I was really really happy when the results turned out amazing! 

The mussels doesn't look too shabby right? Haha.

Heart of Gratitude

Soooo... It's been a long tiring week but I really need to blog!! :)
First off.. I'm finally legal 18!!! YAY!! Haha. Really so grateful for the people that God has placed in my life. Never would I have imagined that I would have people fighting to be the first one to wish me happy birthday. Really very touched. :')
So thank you to Diana and ZhenWei for calling me the moment the clock striked 12. <3 And sorry I couldn't pick up all calls at once. :(
Thank you to JiaJia for wishing me 4 times: through a phone call, through Whatsapp, through Twitter and through Facebook. Love you! <3
Thank you to Sarah for not being too mainstream. Hehe. Your wish really made me want to cry. Feeling so loved! <3

And if I had to say thank you to every single one, I would be writing a very very long post today. But what I really want to say is that I was really touched by the wishes and the messages and the presents. I really didn't expect so much. :')
Biggest thank you goes to God for giving me the chance to impact the people around me. :)
So enough of the birthday post. :)
Moving on to the rest of the week...
This week has been a hectic week due to the looming assignment deadlines. :( had to chiong for my assignment today when my lappy decided it'll be fun to drive me up the wall by not functioning properly. Just when I was about to finish my assignment too. :'((( ended up handing it in late. :( oh well..
Besides that, the Stompers (we haven't come up with a better name yet) have been busy practising all week for RetroMania. Lots and lots of changes have been made throughout the week. Praying for a successful performance!
Despite my busy busy week, I'm super glad that I had time to go for a short shopping trip and dinner with Sarah today!! :) Yay!! *happy dance* It really feels like it has been a very very long time and I'm glad that we had an opportunity to catch up! :) Reminded once again why we're good friends! Can click! *thumbs up* Oh. And she was such a sweetie! Bought me Chewy Junior. Yum! :)
And finally, Jia when you read this.. Congrats!! You have finally finished your exams!!! Go get a well deserved break!! :) time to relax!! :) <3
