Camp #YOLO

Friday: 

Out of the 3 ET Zone Camps, this is the first time that I'm a partial camper. By the time I reached camp, it was in the late afternoon, which means I missed out on most of camp. Thank goodness there was E-night! 

2 of my girls are dancing for E-night! Omgosh! #fangirling

Session was amazing. The drama really leveled up. Praising and worshiping God, learning more about God as well as experiencing God's presence together (and Holy Laughter) as a zone really makes up for me not being there for the rest of the camp.

After the night session was the water bomb event which got pushed back because it was rainy earlier during the day. I swear it's chaos to have a mass water bomb fight so late in the night when it's practically pitch black. Sat out of this one  with Brenda, so we were pretty much listening to the sound of screaming and shouting while watching shadows running around the field ambushing one another. Sadly there were some casualties. :(

After that event, everyone went to wash up and then it was mainly just supper milo and sitting around and chit-chatting. This is always one of my favourite parts of camp. Just sitting around getting to know one another better, really feeling like a family. Just thinking about it makes me smile. :) Went to bed at about 3 but only fell asleep at 4.

Saturday:

Woke up, rather reluctantly. Had some cereal for breakfast and then went back up to pack our stuffs. But guess what. We ended up camwhoring. Hehe.

After that, we headed to Nex for lunch!

Ate at Hot Tomato with Jia, Aron and Glendon. Food was yummy! Or maybe we were just starving. Haha. 

Went to Carl's Jr to meet some of the Hipsters and then headed to Dessert Story slightly later on for dessert. Reached home at 4+, took a shower, and then KO-ed.

Got to spent some quality time with Diana and Rah. Really got to know the both of them much better after this. :) Thankful for times like these. ❤

Headed home after that for dinner. 

Prepped and cooked refreshments for cg with Ryan today. It's been a long long time since the last time we did refreshments together. Haha. 

Went for a simple time of cg and really enjoyed it. :) 

On a totally unrelated note.. Congrats to Jia and Shermane on the completion of their internship! Hehe :D 

N450 Picnic @Botanic Garden

Service in the morning and then we headed down to Botanic Gardens for our cg picnic! :) Thank God for good weather cos it was rainy weather in the morning. But when we reached the sun was just coming out of it's hiding. After a bit of walking and setting up, we were ready to dig in and eat! (All the hungry people say YAY!!) Really appreciate the effort that Zw, Diana and Qing put in to get the food ready. :) I really like simple cg outings like these because we really feel like a family like that. The photos provide all the evidence needed..

We started packing up at 5+ and then a few of us headed to Island Creamery to cool down and for some much needed ice cream.

Slept for 5 hours today before waking up at 7+ to get ready and go for BSF with mummy, Aunty Reenee and Aunty Shure Lee. 

We had a tiny breakfast before  BSF. Little Aiden took my phone and opened the camera app and zi lian all by himself. Sooooo adorable! And such a smart two year old! :3

BSF was good today. 2nd week and I'm starting to get used to it. Not as lost as I was last week. (Thank God) Haha. After that, headed to The Coastal Settlement (near Changi Village) to have lunch. 

I loved the surrounding and ambience there. Perfect for a chill out afternoon with friends. 

This looks perfect for a garden lunch. Hehe.

Ordered once we were sat and settled. We definitely didn't expect the portioning to be so big because the waiter said that the portion was good for one.

Dessert: Bread Pudding and Vanilla Ice Cream

Sadly, I didn't enjoy the food as much as I thought I would. I guess it just didn't taste as good as I thought it would. Better luck next time?

Headed home to rest and catch up on some work before heading out in the evening for dinner with Zhen Wei and Aik. Ate at Popeyes and then shared a large Yoguru after that. It was a good time of fellowship. 

Home again slightly before 11.
